Operation T-CUP is an ongoing project. The initial launch was on October 25, and the distribution of packages will continue to progress for a long period of time. We are still taking any requests from any seniors/organizations that know seniors who could benefit from the project.
Overview
On October 25, 2014, USA TODAY held the Make a Difference Day, the largest single day volunteering effort in the nation. We are ecstatic to announce that we took part in this day through our project known as Operation T-CUP to send out free "Care Packages."
What is Operation T-CUP (Tech-Care Ultra Package)?
We have personally helped and tutored hundreds of seniors already in the Atlanta area. However, we want to abide by our mission statement, "To promote digital literacy and awareness across the senior community," and take Technocademy to a nationwide impact. Of course, we cannot physically reach across America to help seniors in need; yet, we can guide others in the right direction to do so.
Therefore, Operation T-CUP will be a massive effort across the Atlanta area to send free "Care Packages" to senior citizens nationwide in senior living homes and possibly even veteran care centers. Each package will guide seniors and teach them technology at the same depth and quality as we do now through the Summer Series. A single "Care Package" will be sent to an entire living community with all the resources and directions for the center, depending on its size and situation. Tentatively, the contents of the "Care Package" for a center will include:

- Access code to utilize all of Technocademy's paper tutorials and presentations online (can be printed out)
- Contact form/directions for any questions or inquiries
- DVD tutorials on all topics created by actual Technocademy, Inc. teachers
and, if possible, (with sufficient funding)...
- Coupons from technology vendors for equipment (e.g. computers, cell phones, tablets)
