Frank Fortunato
IB Coordinator, Alpharetta High School
Frank Fortunato is a graduate of the University of Georgia and has been involved with Alpharetta High School since 2007. During his time at Alpharetta High School, he has taught students in the English/Language Arts and Gifted Departments, and from 2013-15 he served as department chair for the English/Language Arts department. Currently, Frank Fortunato supervises the Alpharetta High School's creative arts magazine and supports the school’s advanced studies programming and initiatives as a member of the administrative leadership team.

Dr. Susan Hogan
Manager of Market Insights, Deloitte
Previous: Marketing Faculty, Emory University
Susan Hogan is a Manager in the Consumer and Industrial Products (C&IP) Market Insights group, supporting the Manufacturing (Process & Industrial Products) and Retail sectors. Prior to joining Deloitte, Susan was a member of the Marketing Faculty at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and Founder and Managing Director of Actionable Results Research, LLC.  At Emory, Susan taught Consumer Behavior at both the undergraduate and MBA levels.  Additionally, Susan served as faculty advisor for independent studies sponsored by US and global firms including Atlanta Falcons, The Coca-Cola Company, Kimberly Clark, Suunto, and Young Audiences. Susan earned her PhD in Marketing from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  Susan earned an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and holds a BA in Marketing from Michigan State University.


Dr. Tracy Mitzner
Associate Director, Georgia Tech Human Factors and Aging Laboratory
Tracy Mitzner is a Senior Research Scientist at the Georgia Institute of Technology.  She is also the Associate Director of the Human Factors and Aging Laboratory, funded by the NIH (National Institute on Aging) through the Center for Research and Education on Aging and Technology Enhancement and by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) through the Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center, Technologies to Support Successful Aging with Disability. Tracy’s research generally focuses on understanding age-related changes and the potential of technology to support older adults, as well as those who provide support for older adults (e.g., caregivers). Her current research is exploring how current technologies (e.g. computers, tablets, smartphones) and emerging technologies (e.g. robotics, wearables) can be used to provide support for the physical and social wellness of older adults.

Michael Nance
Social Studies Department Chair, Alpharetta High School
Michael Nance is currently the Social Studies Department Chair at Alpharetta High School, one of the top schools in Georgia, and the AP US History and AP European History instructor. He has 36 years of teaching experience and has won numerous awards in educating, including: Alpharetta High School Teacher of the Year (2014), Alpharetta HS STAR Teacher (2013), Region 3A STAR Teacher (2003, 2013), Druid Hills HS STAR Teacher (1990, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004), Emory University Award of Excellence in Teaching (1999, 2001), Druid Hills PTSA Teacher of Excellence (1999), Decatur Rotary Club Teacher of the Year (1994), and Druid Hills Teacher of the Year (1994). He has a passion for education and has been involved in school sports, including Varsity Football and Soccer. He received his Social Studies education degree from the University of Georgia and his Master's in History from Georgia State University.

Daniel Rothenberg
Managing Director of Investments, UBS Financial Services, Inc.
Daniel Rothenberg was born and raised in Pasadena, CA minus time spent back east in Cambridge.  He has been in wealth management business for 9 years after graduating from Harvard University with a degree in Economics. Daniel works with retirement plans, nonprofit endowments, and high net worth individuals. Currently, he sits on one nonprofit board--The Chandler School in Pasadena (the K-8 elementary school that he attended), where he is vice chair and will be the Chair of the Board starting in May. He currently lives in Pasadena with wife Sarah and two children, Morgan (3.5 years) and William (9 months).

Ted Seides, CFA
President and co-CIO, Protégé Partners, LLC
Ted Seides, CFA, is the President and co-CIO at Protégé Partners, LLC, a leading alternative investment firm launched in 2002 that invests in small and specialized hedge funds on an arms-length and seed basis. Ted began his career in 1992, spending five years under the tutelage of David Swensen at the Yale University Investments Office. In 2008, Ted made an infamous, non-profitable wager with Warren Buffett pitting the 10-year performance of the S&P 500 against a selection of five hedge fund of funds. In 2010, Larry Kochard and Cathleen Ritterheiser profiled Ted in the book “Top Hedge Fund Investors:  Stories, Strategies, and Advice.” He serves as a member of the Founder’s Circle of Cycle for Survival and previously was a founding Board member of Citizen Schools-New York. Ted holds a BA in economics and political science, Cum Laude, from Yale University and an MBA with honors from Harvard Business School.

Allison Tubiak
Teacher, Alpharetta High School
Allison Tubiak is currently a member of the English, Fine Arts, and Talented and Gifted Departments at Alpharetta High School where she teaches AP Art History and AP English Language.  Allison has been working for Fulton County Schools since 2003, including one year at her alma mater, Milton High School, before becoming a founding faculty member of Alpharetta High School in 2004. After three years in the English department, Allison moved to the Talented and Gifted Department, where she was program coordinator from 2010-2014.  Next year, she will be taking over the role of English Department Chair. She has been an advocate for the increased use of electronic assessment strategies and personal electronic devices in the classroom and is a member of her school’s Technology Committee. She received her Bachelor’s in English from the University of Georgia English in 2000 and a Master's in English Education in 2003.
